Case has been closed despite proof being provided of item not being delivered

Hello! I'm writing since I'm not quite sure what to do, and the Paypal Assistant bot's replies are making me go in circles with the same responses.

I tried to dispute a partial amount of a charge since a particular item in that whole order was never delivered. In response, the seller sent Paypal old tracking number information that didn't include my item in it. As a result, I provided photo images that showed the items belonging to that tracking number, none of which showed the item being in that package. Unfortunately, paypal closed the case stating that "We've closed the case as the seller reported they've delivered the item."

Is there any way to reopen the case? Though I'm not sure how else to convince them other than the images I've shown, so I'm quite confused on what to do at this point.

You should have opened a dispute for item received but not as described ie incorrect items supplied.

Then the seller and yourself may have worked things out in the dispute phase of the dispute with a part refund or sending the item.

However once escalated to a claim paypal would have told you to return everything received for a full refund (as they don't get involved in part returns or part refunds).

If you want to go down that route then contact customer services and ask them if they will open a second dispute for you, they may decline as normally you can only open x1 dispute per transaction but sometimes they allow it.

Be aware, if you win then the return of the items would be at your own expense (trackable to prove delivery).

Your best option is to switch to a different online payment platform since Paypal seems to have gone to complete he11 and back. The chat assistant is a JOKE to just keep us running in circles so their call center can take 2 hour lunch breaks and work 3 hour shifts.

Switch to zezzle or the other affirm.
