You can normally withdraw via any linked bank account / card already on your permanently limited account. I don't think you can add a funding source to that account.

So your best option is to contact customer services and ask them to link a card for you OR send you a cheque with the balance in the post as per link.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their Facebook or Twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

I totally understand what you experiencing as I am going through the same thing. How are they able to get away with this? My own money has been block since July 2021 and I desperately need it. Bet its a way they are scoring on the interest they make from all of us whose accounts they block. I will NEVER use PayPal again! I am going to see an attorney soon to get help with this. It is totally unacceptable & unethical!!

I have the same problem, I have 500 dollars in my account, and 6 months ago it was limited, more than 190 days have passed and I still cannot withdraw my money.
PayPal does not respond to messages, in fact the message center user interface is very different from an active account, I think PayPal intentionally discriminates or ignores limited accounts. There is no way to communicate with PayPal, the unique access code to make the calls does not work, I send messages through Facebook and it does not respond either. What the hell!

Hello @JohnKranel!

Thank you for taking the time to post on our Community Page.

I understand you are having trouble accessing your funds after waiting 180 days, and I know this can be frustrating. After this timeframe, when your funds become available, you will be contacted by email. At that time, you can transfer the funds by referring here. Otherwise, if you have not received an email, please reach out, so we can help you further. You can reach Customer Support by clicking Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website. They're also available through Twitter direct message or Facebook instant message. Be sure you reply to all automated-bot messages. This will ensure you connect with a PayPal specialist.

Thank you!

- Ashley
