Call from paypal

I just received a call from +43 6691691345 (from Austria). It was an automated voice asking about a transaction. I hung up before i heard more. 

I did recently make a transaction via paypal, but i found it weird they would call me like that.

Can anyone confirm if i did right by hanging up, or was it actually paypal trying to contact me?

I also had the same call just a couple of minutes ago. I instantly hang up because it sounded like it was a phishing call. Anyone have an update on this? I live in Germany but received a call from Austria.
