I'm buying online lessons over zoom, when sending money the buyer protection option is enabled by default, does it protect me for buying an online lesson delivered on a video call?
Should I select the friends and family option to avoid charging the seller?
I am paying an hourly rate, how much is the fee they would have to pay?

Hi zma31,
Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum, and welcome as a new member!
The Family/Friends option on PayPal is to be used between family, and friends as it describes. It is intended to send money as a gift, or to split lunch bills, and there is no Buyer Protection applied to these transactions.
As you are purchasing a service, please use the Goods/Services funding option.
