Buyer protection for concert ticket?

I'd like to buy a concert ticket directly from someone, but am worried it might be a scam. Does buyer protection extend to e-tickets?

Yes. Just open the transaction and click “report a problem” link. Choose “item not received” or “significantly not as described”. Do not select “unauthorized transaction” option, which are for reporting account breaches.
