Buyer paid thru PayPal from Gumtree. Could this be a scam?

Hello we sold furniture and the buyer has paid upfront through PayPal. However we are worried they could raise a dispute afterwards and win as they have organised the Shipping. Could this be an elaborate scam?

Are the funds actually showing in your paypal account?

Even if they are you would have no paypal seller protection for items personally collected by the buyer.
