Blocked account

My PayPal account was limited and then blocked a few months ago, I was asked to wait 180 before I can have access to my money, now 180 days re over yet no response from PayPal, is there something I'm not doing?

You need to contact customer services to resolve any limitation OR account specific issues.
Click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available for your country.

Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

PayPal customer service is useless, so skip that and start filing complaints. Begin with the Better Business Bureau - filing a complaint there is the only way you're going to get any sort of action from PayPal. I would suggest also filing a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau - use the category "Money transfer, virtual currency, or money service > Mobile or digital wallet." And if they continue to keep the money, and it's a significant sum, you might consider engaging an arbitration outfit like FairShake to try and get it back.
