artist refuses to give me a refund, they have had their paypal suspended before (not by me). i need options in either getting a refund or to warn paypal/Ko-fix about this artist. I have mentioned the incident to Ko-Fi and this artist has a bad history with keeping up with clients.
1. Small claims court if you have that option in your country.
2. Chargeback via your card issuer if you funded your paypal payment that way, however it may be too long a period of time for that as well but worth checking.
Advice is voluntary. Kudos / Solution appreciated.
One of the biggest issues is that their old paypal account (the one where i got scammed) got taken down (probably because of similar issues. My bank also doesn't do transactions that far since the payment was made january 2022. Id love to lock them into small claims court but i have no idea how that would even work.
