I'm buying something on Facebook marketplace (in Ireland) and was wondering if there's a way to ensure buyer protection in the case I am scammed? I've heard of people using friends & family to avoid the buyer protection, what would be the best process to send the payment through that would give me the most protection?
Thanks!

Make sure you use the send money > goods/services option so that you have buyer protection and the best way is to get the seller to send a money request or invoice fully describing the item you are buying in case you have to raise a dispute for item received but not as described.
However buyer protection is not a 100% coverall so your best bet is to go read up on it in paypals user agreement so you can risk assess your transactions.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
