Hello @Wmalpac

Thank you for writing in the PayPal Help Community!

I do understand your concern about the unknown charge in your PayPal account. You can review the transaction details in the activity page of your PayPal account and you can also reach out to the merchant for additional details about this charge. Try following the steps stated by @kernowlass to see if this charge is part of a subscription. If after review you feel this payment was sent without authorization, no need to worry, PayPal offers full protection for unauthorized activity. You can report the charge in the resolution center of your PayPal account. Here's the article with the information on reporting unauthorized transaction : How do I report an unauthorized transaction or account activity?

Thanks for the help here @kernowlass!

Hope this information helps,

Bindu

The same thing happened to me.   Signed up for a WalkFit App. I believed I signed up for a free trial period but it has been taking over $80 AUD  every 3 months from my pay pal account (3 times in total) and I’ve only just managed to work out what it was for. After reading so many other complaints I have decided that the hassle to try and recoup my money is not going to be worth it.  I’m just grateful that I’ve been able to work out what it was for as this is an extremely large amount to be losing. I’d love to know what motivates people to scam others out of their money!
