I was wondering if anyone else in the PayPal community has had an unauthorized transaction or charge for services or for an app from this company Actitech Limited? And if so, were you successful in receiving a refund or credit to your account and how did you go about doing so?

If you signed up to a free trial of a fitness app or similar then cancel here >>>


Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

Thanks so much for the advice I have already canceled. Y subscription abut was unable to get a refund tho' I canceled the subscription the 5th day after supposedly starting it. It was only $15.19 but when you're living on a fixed income every little bit helps ya know. I have seen many complaints about this company here in this forum and on the. BBB website. It's so sad that the regard for others has dropped to the extent that it has. Anyway, thanks again for the reply and have a great evening!!

They had told me it was on hold in beginning because he put it in the wrong categories so annoyed. Then she told me ok your al good to go. Well I apparently was not because Gavin peters was his name then went to actual bank and is trying to get the money back he hasn’t replied to any of us and I’m very upset about how PayPal seems to not care how they are the ones that messed this up and they have almost 2000 on “hold” bc he did that crap but basically tells me after they told me 3 other things that my account was negative and it was not even close to being negative and for some reason they took all that money plus 680 dollars putting me in the negative. I have been fighting this and the whole other card issue that my mother had spent all of these transactions on my card and. Honestly I couldn’t tell you how she didn’t my card nor have I talked to her for 12 years but to say I’m not surprised is very very sad bc she is constantly putting my name on cards and then I have to press charges fyi don’t do absolutely anything for you. I am also fighting 3 other cc companies as well I am. Single mother of two boys and pay pal really [Removed] me when they didn’t even reach out to me until I realized my pay pal was as getting declined & a lot of my bills are definitely messed up and they have been shutting my utilities off once at a time and told me they did not receive my payment so it’s been very frustrating because while this entire thing is happening I’m in they just give me different excuses to why and how! And they also have not showed absolutely anything on “they care” PayPal is super protected or even offered while I am going through this and it’s bc of themselves who put me in this situation should at least help me out with money to be able to help pay my bills. Nope they just say ok and give another excuse to say I am way passed over it is not even the words right now i beyond upset annoyed stressed out severely bad

  • They double-charged me for months for yoga-go, which I did sign up for. They charged the expected fee, plus a second charge for a little less. I didn't notice because I was grieving and not paying attention. I think they chose the 3-month pay period so people won't notice as easily. I was able to cancel, no refund, no response at all to my complaint. Today, I got an email from them offering a 97% discount for some other exercise/weight loss plan app. As if I'm going to ever willingly give them another dime. If anyone ever files or finds a suit directed towards them, please let me know.

I am being charged monthly by Actitech but cannot find any way to cancel. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

@DeeDee173 I understand that you want to cancel the automatic set for the company Actitech. You can find the automatic payments also called as subscriptions details on the PayPal website by following the below mentioned steps:   
Go to Settings.
Click Payments.
Select Automatic payments.
Select the merchant.


You can cancel the automatic payment on this page. Kindly refer the help centre article to know more about What is an automatic payment and how do I update or cancel one?. If you think there has been unauthorised use on your account, here is some help: How do I report an unauthorized transaction or account activity?
