Hi, My account has been put under limitations without any notice or warnings, I was asked to submit ID proofs which I did but I don't why still my account was blocked, I thought it was because of the photo in my ID which was taken when I was 18 but they still didn't do anything about it, I have funds in my account which are in the hold and I am not able to withdraw, I am a freelancer and single penny is important to me, So I request to know how to get my funds ASAP I am ready to fulfill any document required. Please advise.

If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal tends to hold any funds for 180 days. This is the same time frame that buyers have to open Paypal disputes.

If no disputes are opened in 180 days then normally you are allowed to withdraw the funds. That is as long as you are over 18, account is in your legal name and the account is registered in the country where you reside.

Sometimes they confiscate funds under this policy.

Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.

Contact options for Paypal are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages...

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out.
Or
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

I did call them and email them but they say as your account is limited your balance will remain on hold for 180 days and it's a final reply, I mean this is not the best way to handle the situation. I am ready to provide any document they ask to prove the legitimacy. This is very frustrating I cannot reach them through phone or email they have blocked all my way.

If its a permanent limitation then no they probably won't reply as you are no longer a customer of theirs as they have withdrawn the offer of their services from you.
