ASOS return and only partially refunded return

Hi All, I recently bought items on ASOS, I kept the appropriate items and returned the others. I have proof of postage and can see the parcel was delivered. When asking about my refund I got an an email to say my account has been closed as per their T&Cs and to contact PayPal for a refund. I have raised and dispute/claim with PayPal twice now and they are refusing the claim. I have provide stacks of evidence from proof of postage number, the tracking diagram, extracts of chats from ASOS saying they have the parcel etc. Also, one item from the order was refunded implying they did receive it. The order was £360. Can anyone provide any help and guidance on this as to why they are not honouring buyer protection given the evidence.

Paypal covers you for non receipt of item OR item received but not as described.

They do not cover you for buyer remorse. So if you returned the item just because you did not want them and they were as described then any refund is between you and the merchant to sort out.

Also even if you did win your claim paypal does not get involved in part returns or part refunds, they would tell you to return everything you received back to the seller for a full refund.

It’s not buyers remorse. The entire package was bought, not suitable and delivered back to ASOS. They subsequently closed my account during the returns process. Luckily at the time of purchase it had default to PayPal Credit. Therefore if need be I will pursue under C75. The point being there’s a number of instances like these and with people buying through PayPal when purchasing with ASOS. I am not in receipt of the goods, the return was accepted, they’ve closed my account and told my to seek refund from PayPal. The point of the question is due to PayPal not exactly having the appropriate fit for my query and asking what route others went down
