How do i disagree with paypals decision regarding unauthorised activity

I went to the resolution centre to report 5 transactions that weren't authorised by me that has cost me £86 PayPal then investigated it but they have now said that there's no unauthorised activity and that I'm not entitled to a refund. But how can they say that when I clearly didn't make the purchases or receive the items that we bought.

They don't cover you for all unauthorised transactions, check the section on unauthorised in their user agreement.

If the transactions were made using your IP address then paypal would not consider them unauthorised.

Thanks for the info but I know the person who has done it which I only found that out through looking on my PayPal account, they don't live with me or even in the same area but they have accessed my PayPal and made purchases that have been sent to the other persons address and I did not authorise the payments or give permission for that person to use my PayPal account to pay for their goods. And I cant afford to lose that amount of money

I'm in exactly the same boat, I have not authorised any payments, £1000 was used through my PayPal yesterday, i had literally had the money put in my account 12pm and woke to all my money gone, no money for me or my children, its my child's birthday this month and they have left me with nothing, nothing to support my kids, no food, no nothing. I had a message to say I had unusual activity on my account that didn't match my usual activity but then decided there was no evidence of unauthorised payments

I have spoke to them through PayPal chat, Facebook messenger, email and I have got nowhere. I'm so angry and upset and don't know what else I can do to get my money back as they are saying there's no evidence of unauthorised transactions even though there obviously is and they also messaged me to say the was unusual activity on my account that didn't match my usual activity

Hi, did you get any luck with the refund? I am in the same situation as yours, someone hacked my account and placed orders. PayPal says no unauthorised activity and closes the case!
