For multi seller marketplace, disputes settlement

on implementing a multi-seller marketplace for Australia, I encountered there may arise various disputes, we have seller protection but in case any disputes arose after payment has been dispatched to the seller. What will be the cases and how can we handle this? if the seller is liable then how it affects the merchant?

We didn't find many clear documents, if available provide clear documentation.
