Hello,
I have opened a claim cause the seller initially made me believe they would either send me back the package or refund me but eventually refused to refund once it was clear, after many weeks that the package was lost. I am a frequent buyer of that seller (discounter shop) and I am also using Paypal since ~15 years and never filed a claim for all thousands transactions I made. I have provided evidence that the mail service left the package at one of their logistics hub declaring it "delivered" but it seems the seller provided evidence my package was delivered. Of course not to the recipient, who was not even home the day they would have allegedly "delivered" it. My claim has been closed in favor of the seller with no other question asked to me. What would you recommend me to do?
I am extremely disappointed and considering not using Paypal anymore as I am using it only for protection and obviously it did not work for me the only time I needed it. Conversely, about 2-3 years ago I had received "weird" merchandise from another couple of sellers in 2 orders and since I paid directly with credit card I have contacted my provider and both cases were solved and within a month I had my money back.
What would be the right course of actions now? Is there anything I can do to get my ~$100 back?
Thank you all for your feedback!

Hello @disapptdUser,
Welcome to the PayPal Community Forum!
Sorry to hear this has happened. I understand you disputed this transaction as you did not receive the item purchased. When an item not received dispute is opened, we will request valid tracking information from the seller. This tracking is manually reviewed by an agent, to confirm that the item was delivered to your location. This tracking will also be visible to you, within the claim case in your Resolution Centre. If you feel a mistake has been made, you may have the option to appeal this case or contact us to explore this further.
I hope this helps, have a nice day!
Rebecca
