we have an API integration, and we see that on mobile browsers PayPal does not offer the option to pay by credit card. On desktop browsers it does offer that option. Does anybody have any advice on how to get the credit card option to work on mobile?
The PayPal urls look like this:
The same url shows different options on mobile and on desktop, without and with credit card options respectively.
Many thanks in advance!
Have you follwed the Integration guide on PayPal docs?
Also, you are developing it for wordpress or which plateform?
It's payment processing code in our own custom-built PHP application. We followed the guide, payments are working, we just see different experiences for different users. According to PayPal support this is 'expected' functionality. I suspect it's part of their on-boarding process to get more sign-ups 🙂
As a result we're going to move to Stripe to handle credit card payments and leave PayPal as a PayPal-only option.
