V2 Checkout Order Intent

I'm trying to create an order using the new V2 API, but the ORDER intent seems to no longer be valid.
I don't want to authorize any payment in advance as I don't take payment until the point stock is ready and being picked (due to the nature of the business some pre-order payments can take months) but there only seems to be AUTHORIZE and CAPTURE as valid intents.
I had been using the V1 API, which orders work fine with, but seeing the V2 API was available I decided I should use this instead to future proof this new build.
I can't see any way to replicate the ORDER intent in the V2 API. Is this intentional, or an omission?

We do have a way to save the order with the intention of authorizing or capturing it at a later point. We didn't have it at the time when you first posted this message - if you still have the need - please let us know and I can help you with what you need.
