Unable to add card

Hi all, 

 

I am currently using Shopify and have set up sandbox account in Shopify payment gateway. When I proceed to checkout with Paypal, it asked me to add a card and I fill in the card number & expiry date from this sandbox account (refer to image: https://cl.ly/1y3H3t070B0i) 

 

However, when I click 'add', it show this message "We're sorry, but your card issuer declined the payment. To complete your purchase, check your card details are correct or try a different card." (refer to image: https://cl.ly/152R2t1V1X30)

 

Any tips or advice in resolving this so I can proceed on with my testing?

Hi @WanPing

As Ciaran suggested, either use a card number provided by a random card generator tool or use one of the card numbers provided on the first thread in this forum.

Are you using a known card as in one thats used regularly by others, if so it could be causing the issue. You can try a different card number by generating one here for example.
