i'm a bit new when it comes to working with paypal, but it strikes me that the sandbox environment is more than a little flaky. it seems to fall over at random times for randon reasons and gives impenetrable error messages. i'm beginning to wonder if it's worth the trouble using paypal when there are so many other, more professional, more reliable gateway providers around. it really does not inspire any confidence going ahead into production/live.
