Some credit card types (visa) not supported while others working fine

Hi, I have a problem with a payment solution used at http://bancons.com/

 

We created a custom solution here, no cart, no flat prices. Price is calculated on the fly using varaibles put in the order form by a user.

Then for a payment, user is redirected to PayPal payment form.

The most important element of this payment option is possibility of paying without having a PayPal account, so with a credit card. All works fine for a MasterCard, but crashes while one wants to pay with Visa (we didn't tested other cards). After step 1 (filling up a form with personal details and address), the process goes to the next step "Select a currency conversion option", user makes a choice, hit ok, it's processing and then on step 3 (which for Mastercard was a success message and end of the payment) - crashes displaying error page with only "Things don't appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later."

The visa payment was tested using different Visa cards, from two different countries (Poland and Switzerland) and different PayPal accounts.

 

Why does the payment works for Mastercards but no Visa?
How can I fix this?
I'll be deeply obliged for your help as my developers don't have idea how to solve this 😞

Hi,

We would need to look into the request your submitting with the Visa card in detail.

Can you open a support ticket via our support portal (https://www.paypal.com/mts) and provide steps to re-produce the issue and on the error page where the error is displayed, right-click on that page, select view source and send us the "rlogid" which will be displayed (it's a long string of letters and numbers).

We can investigate and let you know our findings
