Sandbox Credit Card Testing

I have a project that I have been working and I utilize the PayPal API to accept payments. It is only hooked up to a sandbox right now. If a user actually used a real credit card, nothing could ever get processed, correct? It just uses an angorithm to make sure the card 'could' be processed for real. I know it is always recommended to use fake generated cc numbers, I just want to make sure no real cc could ever get charged. Thanks.

Hello,

Sandbox doesn't communicate with external card vendors at all, so no real-world card can be charged.

I would still highly recommend not adding real-world financial information to a sandbox account. We have ficticious data inserted into the accounts when they're created and we provide a card generator tool on our developer site which can be used to generate card details for testing purposes.

Thanks !
