Sandbox Account accepted Legit payment

Have a sandbox account setup for testing, regretfully it's no inhouse and others have access to it.
But someone was able to check out with their account against the sandbox account keys.
Seems like that shouldn't be allowed, I thought it wasn't from past experiences, am I mistaken?

Money does not actually move in Sandbox, this means that the transaction would not be completed with the customers account.
