I'm currently working on the integration of PayPal Plus into a checkout workflow.
If I understand the documentation correctly, a merchant has to apply for the invoice payment to enable it as available payment method. In my sandbox testing, this method always shows up (for german checkouts).
Is there any way to influence this?
I tried the different possible values for allowed_payment_method in the transaction's paymentOptions when creating the underlying payment from the backend, but this did not have any effect so far. Is there any other parameter for this or am I not able to influence the provided payment methods besides adding my own 3rd party methods?
