Paypal Guest Checkout

I have enabled PayPal Account Optional under Website Preferences in my business profile settings, but not able to see any guest checkout method on the customer's end while payment. Both in the sandbox and live environment. What is the issue? I have another business account PayPal by which I am doing all this.

Hello,

Thank you for posting to the PayPal Sandbox Community.
There are several reasons why Guest Checkout may not display.

Below is a listing of possible reasons:

  • Email address not confirmed
  • Recurring Payment
  • Express Checkout Payment where solutiontype=sole is missing
  • The wrong account API is being used

If you still are having issues with Guest Checkout, please comment the merchant id for the sandbox account and I will review the logs.
