Live app instead of Sandbox app

I created a sandbox app but what i really needed is a Live app.  Can I switch?  should I delete the sandbox app first then start again?

Hello,

No, you can't switch a REST application from sandbox to live.

You can either delete the sandbox REST application or leave it there, it makes no difference, just create a live application instead and use the "client_id" and "client_secret" from that new application for authentication.
