IPN Failure Email (from PayPal) but IPN Simulator Shows All Is Well

We recently migrated our entire server (our account & about a hundred others) to a new host & we received an email from PayPal yesterday that our IPN Notifications are failing & we're in danger of having IPN's switched off.

  • I checked our orders & there are no pending payment statuses as I would expect if IPN's were truly failing
  • all store settings are correct
  • our IPN settings within PayPal are correct
  • no URLs changed with  the migration
  • IPN Simulator returned: "IPN was sent and the handshake was verified."

 

Has anyone had this issue previously & what might we be overlooking?

Hello,

Check the IPN history section of your account to check the status of recent IPN transmissions. IPN's which have issues will show a status of "retrying" or "failed". Click on the "message id" to view specific details about the IPN message, such as the response status and number of delivery attempts.
