When i try to create a "new app" this message appearse:
"Something went wrong creating the application. Try again.
If you wish to report this error please include the following error id: 959b5c8077f6f"
And I can't even delete one of my existing applications. There is a temporary problem with PayPal?

This error might happen if you attempt to create an application using an application name that already exists (application name have to be unique)
Can you please share your sandbox account linked to the application? If you prefer not to do so in the community forum, I invite you to create a ticket through Merchant technical support portal (https://www.paypal.com/mts )

I called the support and they said it's because the servers are being maintained. So on the next day everything worked fine. However this happens quite often when I try to revisit my apps. The same type of massage appears where my apps are supposed to be listed :
"There was error retrieving applications. Please try again.
If you wish to report this error please include the following error id ******"
I'm very upset as it occurs randomly and stays for a long time. I have to delay a site launch now.

Thanks for the reply and the info! It's a shame that PayPal just can't get things to work smoothly - that has been the case for the last 10 years I have been working with their APIs... For me, it started working again on the next day, just for the API to result in 401 status errors the day after, again blocking my work and costing me hours of work time.

This issue 401 indicates that there is an issue on your access token (either not included in the request, invalid or expired).
This issue is described here :
https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/why-did-i-get-website-error-401-ts2029
Here is a link to the documentation of oAuth token request to allow your integration to get an access token :

Please don't hesitate to leave me a Kudo if my response was helpful to increase it visibility.

@MTS_joaquimThanks for the quick response. However, I don't think it's a problem on our side - it was working perfectly one day, then the next day, without any change, the experience profile call results in a 401. I'm using the vue-paypal-checkout component which itself is only a wrapper on the own PayPal JS button implementation, so I don't configure any access tokens manually. I'll try cleaning cache and cookies and see if that changes anything and let you know, after I finished working on another project.

If you still encounter the issue, it seems that there is something wrong with your application.
Can you try to clean your cache and browsing cookies and try again? If the issue persist, could you please contact us privately through https://paypal.com/mts giving us the details of your application (developer account's email, application name, client id, screenshot and source code of the page with the error) so we can find the solution with you?
Thank you.
