I'm trying to create an order using the JS SDK with ORDER intent. It seems it is no longer valid. I don't want to authorize any payment in advance. Is there any work around available to achieve this?
To create an Order without any sort of authorization or capture, you'd have to be using an older SDK. Either the Rest V1 Orders SDK or the NVP/SOAP SDK. You can see more about that here.
I am using NVP/SOAP API to integrate Express Checkout. When DoExpressCheckoutPayment API is called with Payment Action 'Order' or 'Authorize', it returns error code 10443. I created case with PayPal Support for further assistance and waiting for an update.
