Cannot retrieve values passed in "custom" field

I tried to set "custom" field with a value, I expected to see it in merchant email notification and/or in the order detail of my merchant account.

Unfortunately there is nothing, maybe a sandbox issue?

The "custom" variable is returned in the instant payment notification data and if you query the transaction via GetTransactionDetails API request

You can't the "custom" variable is returned either via PDT or IPN.
