I'm back after a sleepless weekend to try and pick through the wreckage of our billing timeline following the IPN outage, kick off the process of apologising to hundreds of customers, spending another day looking for and reconciling missing transactions manually and so on. Ho hum, it is what it is, but sadly when I go to check:

the status page to see if the outage is fixed now is down. ditto

These are intermittent 5xx errors, ie not client-side. Have got multiple colleagues from around the world to verify. They're all ready to check because we're all worried about the impact to our business and our customers of the IPN problem.
So two questions arise here:
1. Does someone at paypal want to raise the paypal-status.com issues
2. Is the incident cleared at all? What's the status? I'm on the phone to PayPal but I have no idea whether I will get someone who knows what ipn is and will be able to answer my question.
