I sell online and live in NH where there is no sales tax. For the first time The sale platform collected sales tax on a sale from a lady in NJ. Under the Paypal transaction there is a fee for a partner commision that is the same amount of the tax collected. I have never seen this fee before. Is this fee the tax collected? Do they handle the tax I collected? If not how do I handle a sales tax in another state? Thank u in advance!
