how to create itemized report?

Is there a way to customize activity reports to include a breakdown of what items each customer purchased?  I can only seem to get the total amount of their purchases to appear, even when I try to customize the fields to include everything.  I've also clicked on the option to "include shopping cart details as line items under each transaction" but nothing seems to make each item within a purchase show up on the report. Any suggestions?

Go to transactions, click on the "download" word on right hand side above the transactions. This will open up te page where yo can download a spreadsheet with everything in, but the options to choose exactly what info you'd like are not comprehensive.
