When I have a sale and a customer pays using PayPal, what happens with the taxes that PayPal collects when a customer makes a payment on my behalf? Does PayPal run that the taxes on my behalf and send me the appropriate tax form at the end of the year so I can file my taxes? Or do I have to send off the taxes from each individual sale to the appropriate taxing body? That seems like it could be very challenging especially if I’m successful. Want to do the right thing but it seems overwhelming and kind of scary 😦
