Ok some background information. 1) I am financially dependent on my parents at age 18 2) recently got donations through streamlabs and twitch I am worried that by earning money will affect my parents tax forms (I am trying to keep the money I make from streaming and the money on paypal seperate and hidden). What exactly will happen? Am I able to get money and donations without worrying about it coming up on any tax papers? If I get get money from paypal, do I have to report it to the irs or something? (I have no real understanding of taxes tbh) I'm sorry if this is a jumbled mess I'm just concerned of accidentally breaking the law, and I just want to have money that I get from a hobby/something I do for fun without worry of overbearing parents or law breaking.
