I'm having some issues, be them small, about the sales tax being collected.
Wisconsin publication 201, page 41, is very specific about collectible coins and stamps. I sell stamps, many below face value. The sales tax publication states that their should NOT be sales tax collected on these sales, yet the buyer (and myself through additional fees) are getting hammered with sales tax.
Unless this law has changed, I don't believe that the buyer of my stamps, when below face value, should be paying the sales tax in Wisconsin.
Any thoughts out there?
