We collect and remit local sales tax quarterly,
I just went to my Nov statement in excel to do a quick sum and be done, as I have done for years past.
But now that other states are remitting sales tax excel is showing ALL transactions with sales tax. There is no way to sort this information (like an amazon excel statement) by state.
Called paypal. She said I would have to copy/paste EACH transaction number into paypal, click on it and see what state it is......WHAT????? We average 600 transactions a month. With more and more states having platforms collect sales tax this will only increase over time.
Has anyone found a work around, or a program to do this for you? This will add 4 hours a month to just run paypal taxes.
