I have been providing a service to a company for a few years and I have always been paid by them through PayPal. As of this year they are now going to send me a 1099 for what I was paid. This will be for the gross amount paid and since I have paid fees out of every dollar, how can I deduct the fees when doing my taxes?
I have tried to search for an answer online but every topic I find has to do with being a seller of goods and dealing with fees and shipping.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
