Ordered online using Venmo, merchant wants transaction ID?

I ordered something online and noticed (on my account on the merchant's site) it is still pending when it should have been processed long ago. For the first time I used Venmo to pay, and I see that the money came out of my Venmo account. Which mostly took from my bank account. I have emailed the merchant and they keep telling me to look at my PayPal history and give them the invoice ID. However the transaction doesn't appear in my history. Everything else does. Is there something I'm missing or what? PS this is a legit company, the large cosmetics brand Colourpop

I think the company is trying to pull up your payment on their end with the transaction ID number. Perhaps give them the transaction date and amount. Or look for the PayPal email receipt for the transaction ID or receipt ID number, or even their order number.
