I need to access a transaction ID on a personal account. However, the transaction is very old, far more than 3 years. Is there any way to get the ID?

In such instances, you will need to request download of the activity choosing Statements in the Activity section. Here you can create a report with the timeframe you wish. It is not always instant, but Paypal will email a customised activity report once it is ready. Here is a link https://www.paypal.com//smarthelp/article/faq1007
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

So, I’ve seen that page before with steps on how to get the history but when I check the activity page on the account in question there are no options to see more detailed transactions or download a report. I can do that on my account no problem but on this other account those options are not available. I haven’t been able to figure out why.
