Question for the Community-- I was trying to sell digital content I own online in a marketplace. When I had my first customer-- they wanted to send me to PayPal come to find out I had to buy a gift card a Razor Gift Card to get my money. Is there something wrong with this and what should I do? I almost fell for the same mess on a different method CashApp? Should I report them.
I am selling photos I own on Foap. Should I report the platform for not being direct with sellers? I literally avoided being scammed three times.

Typical paypal scam, however as the scam does not actually use the paypal site as they pay you nothing but you have to send a 'fee' using another payment option pointless reporting to paypal. They are well aware of the scam anyway, check it out >>>
SCAM
You never pay any upfront fee as a seller or to receive payments into a Paypal account.
Ignore scammers that send fake Paypal emails telling you that you need to pay an upfront fee to verify/upgrade to a business account/or any other reason to accept a payment.
You would certainly never have to send funds especially via another payment processor/bitcoins/ or tokens/vouchers of any sort.
Any fee is auto deducted by Paypal at the same instant the remainder of the payment is credited to your Paypal account balance.
No funds in your balance = you have not yet been paid, even pending/held payments will still show in your Paypal account activity.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
