How do I get PP records from past years?

I need to get PP records from previous years. According to PP on Twitter, records only go 7 years back. I can live with that but I can't even get records older than one year. I've found advice on Google, which boils down to going to Activity and choosing a custom date range for statements. I did that but it's unresponsive and always defaults back to Jan 1, 2023-Jan 15, 2023. For what it's worth, I'm a Mac user. Any help would be much appreciated!

Here's how to create and download a detailed report of all your transaction activity for any time period in the past 7 years:

1. Log in to your PayPal account on a web browser.
2. Go to your Reports.
3. Click Activity download.
4. Select the transaction type, date range and file format. Customize report fields (optional).
5. Click Create Report.
6. When the report is ready, click Download.
