Certification of Foreign Status (Bug?)

Hello Today I received a email from PayPal to renew my Certification of Foreign Status, but when I click it in the notification, it says I already submitted it. Once I go to my account, it appears once again in my notifications.Help! <removed> <removed>

I have this problem too. I completed this in 2016, and I got an email an notif saying it will expire this year. When I click on either, it shows "Thanks, Your information has been submitted".

Update: I phoned the Portuguese PayPal support, and they reassured me that our tax details look good in their system and there shouldn't be a problem. They sent me a link to upload a screenshot of the notification so they could create a tech support ticket…

 

Before hanging up, I asked if my account could be frozen if this notification continues to appear until the end of the year, and he reassured me that I won't have a problem. However, I'm not sure how reassured I am since PayPal is known to block accounts at the drop of a hat… and I'm not sure how certain this support staff could be since he didn't have any indication of why this apparent bug was happening. 

 

So I guess we just have to wait and see 😬

I have the same issue. When I click on the notification about foreign status, it says thank you for submitting your information - but it does not display any form to complete, and the alert remains.

 

 called PayPal UL office, and after holding for 2 hours solid, I gave up.

 

I will switch to Stripe as they offer a business service that helps their customers.

Sadly most of my clients use PayPal and there's no way to transfer my money to Stripe.

 

But yea, which they were faster replying.

I am confronted with this too. I mailed support twice and both times got an identical reply, obviously automated, saying useless generic cr*p about account limitations

Same problem, can`t do anything about it.. It says everything is ok, but still notification shows..
