Balance Impact = memo but also marked paid?

I have a paypal history large excel document obtained via subponea through the court but my lawyer doesn't understand the information.

There is lots of transactions in one column that are marked as 'paid' but in the Balance Impact column they dont have Dr or Cr but rather 'memo' or nothing.

If something was marked paid why wouldn't it be a dr or cr?

Does anyone know what this could mean? The transactions are significant amounts and there is lots of them. ie not just one incorrect invoice.
