Does PayPal report anything to Tax Authorities (Finnish in particular) when I am paid by a site such as Gumroad?
There are some money I might want to receive from Gumroad, but they belong actually to my friend. I therefore would receive them and pass these to my friend once they are in my bank account, and that friend should report her taxes herself. Finnish Tax authority over the phone said that there is a certain limit to this kind of help (such as 5k/3 years) but the operation seems to be legit under these conditions. I wonder if Paypal informs automatically Finnish tax authority that some money was withdrawn, or not.

PayPal only does tax reporting if you are a US person/citizen living domestically or abroad.
Any other country, you must determine your tax liability on your own unless a law from your country requires PayPal to report your transaction activity to your country’s tax authorities which doesn’t seem like there is one.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
