Where did the Activity option that shows balance and fees disappear to? I'm gobsmacked that I can't find anyone talking about this, in the community, the Help Center, or even just online! ... am I living in a parallel reality where nobody else lost this functionality???

OK got the answer so thought I'd post it for others.
It was there all along ... just click Transaction Type > Balance View (All Transactions).
As a technical writer, I can tell you that changing nomenclature will mess up your customers every time. The keywords used to say something like "Transactions showing balance and fees" ... so "balance and fees" is what I was looking for. "Balance View" is the new phrase.
Sigh ...

Sorry, but that is not a Solution. No actual Balance is being shown. Instead, at the bottom of the window there is a statement: "You can get the details of balance impact from each of these payments in a customized Activity download report"
So now it appear you need to request a report - not immediately available - when it's available PayPal sends you an email.

Hi,
I have used this Balance view (all transactions) in the activity for a while and it did used to show everything including the current balance and how it was affecting the balance but now it just gives an activity download option. When you create the report it does not have opening or closing figures just the activity, which to be honest is no use.
What's happening with it, will it be rectified and be available again?
This is a normal function to any bank accounts and am astonished this function has been dropped.
Thanks
Siobhan

Loads of people with the same problem, with many opening a merchant ticket getting the reply that the feature has been phased out. PayPal are a **bleep** joke...

I also find it totally annoying and unacceptable that the running balance has been phased out. Leads me to believe that PayPal is either trying to hide important information or is stealing from us.
