Hey all,
I was selling some estate items for a friend - according to him, almost all sold at a loss, but he doesn't have documents from original purchases. Since it was all on my eBay and PayPal account, I now received a 1099-K from PayPal. None of this is actually my money, but the IRS may see it as mine. Any advice on what to do besides getting a tax accountant involved to have my friend offset any owed taxes?
