I have noticed that if a customer sends me a payment using Echeck I get an email from Paypal saying payment received with the amount and all other details- except for one thing. Nothing to tell me that payment has not actually cleared! That is pretty **bleep** stupid. If I was to take the email notification at face value, prepare the customer's invoice and do the shipping with a service other than Paypal (something I do quite often) I could conceivably send out the order before realizing I have not been paid yet. Then when the Echeck clears 3 or 5 days later they don't bother sending out an email to inform me of the fact. During that time I may have had 10 or 30 other sales, so the transaction drops off the "Recent transactions" page and I don't see it has cleared. Has anyone else tried contacting Paypal about this?
