Why I'm I not seeing the payment made or an email?

My client paid me my money and sent me two screenshots, one saying the money was pending and another one showing the money has been sent to me, this was on a Saturday an today is on a Monday morning but I've not received any email from Paypal saying I've been paid or the money is not showing in my account or even as pending, my account is not one month old I opened it around may 9th this year. Please help me, did my client not pay me or should I wait for sometime for the money to show on my account??? When is the email supposed to show up??

Thank you for visiting the PayPal Community. I am sorry to hear that you have not received an expected payment. You may verify that the email address they sent the payment to matched your PayPal email address. If it shows that the email address matches, it is possible that these are fake screenshots. If a payment is received. you will receive an email immediately from PayPal and you would be able to see it on your PayPal Activity page. If the transaction does not appear in your activity, it is likely a scam. I know that can be tough to spot a scam these days.
