I'm the web guy and know how to create a paypal account. We have a 501-C3 org. and I set up the PP account to receive donations a couple of years ago. The other day I received a 1099-K, my name, my address, my SSN. And I do what with it? Does the IRS think it's my income. Do I just pass it on to the treasurer of the org? I called the IRS <removed> The IRS no longer answers questions on that subject <click>.

Hi @liderbug,
Thank you for your post.
PayPal is required to issue a 1099-K for transactions over certain thresholds. The thresholds are $20,000 or more received over 200 or more payments, with a separate threshold of $600 over any number of payments for the states of Vermont and Massachusetts.
PayPal is unable to provide any instruction regarding your tax obligations.

The PP account is a 501c3. I'm only the admin. Any tax documents should be under the ORG ID#. PP reported all donations under "my" SS#. How do I get PP to correct the 1099K?
